Kiln Tracker Privacy Policy

Kiln Tracker, both iOS and Android variants are intended for use by invited participants who are aware of their role in the collection of data files from kiln devices.

Location data is optionally collected at the time of synchronisation with a kiln device, for the purpose of capturing approximate location of the kiln. Precise location data is never requested, and the location which is captured is not stored alongside any personally identifiable information relating to the person who uploaded the data.

No personally identifiable information is captured by the app. The username entered into the app is purely used during authentication prior to upload of kiln data files - the username is not transmitted with the data files or stored in any way related to them.
